This month the library is featuring artist Jamie Grant of In Good Company. Jamie is displaying her beautiful fruit and vegetable quilts in the entryway, and they look good enough to eat! So stop by the library during the month of April to view the work of a talented local quilter.
Wednesday Children’s Activities
Join us at the library on Wednesday, April 11 for enriching and fun children’s activities. Music Makers storytime is from 10:30-11:30 in the community room. Melissa Sparks leads this program, geared towards ages 2-7 with an accompanying adult, through singing, movement, fingerplays and stories. April’s theme is “Manners and Feelings”. Stop by the children’s room from 2:30-3:30 for our R.E.A.D to a dog program. Ooby and his handler will be here to listen to all levels of readers. Hope to see you at the library!

Facebook. You’ve heard of it, you’re not sure what all the fuss is about, but you’re curious none-the-less. Join us in the Community Room tomorrow, April 7 at 1:00 p.m. for a free class on the social networking phenomenon. Seth Pollman will guide you through setting up your own account and the basic functions. You’ll be connected in no time. For more info, call 777-5061.
Wednesday Storytime with Local Author, Diane Hipp
Join us at the library on Wednesday, April 4 from 10:30-11:30 for a special Storytime with guest and local award winning children’s book author, Diane Hipp. She will read from her newly released book, “Hermis and Howard: A Bully Finds His Heart”. Puppets and a coloring activity will supplement the story, which presents a fresh look on how bullying can be dealt with in our community. All ages invited to attend with an accompanying adult.

Wednesday Storytime – Music Makers
Join volunteer Melissa Sparks tomorrow, Wednesday March 28 at 10:30 for a fun storytime hour filled with movement, instruments, singing stories and rhyming fingerplays. Appropriate for ages 0-7 with an accompanying adult, storytime is an important part of developing early literacy skills and a love for reading and the library.
This week’s theme is “Weather and Clothing”. Rain or shine, we hope to see you there!
Intermediate Computer class
Join Seth Pollman on Wednesday, March 28 from 2:00-4:00 for his Intermediate Computer class. This class goes beyond the basics – you’ll learn about shortcut keys and file management, as well as general PC maintenance. Basic familiarity with computers and/or completion of an introductory-level computer class is recommended. The class is free and open to the public.

R.E.A.D to a Dog – Wednesday, March 28
The library is hosting an exciting new program with a furry new friend! Join us in the children’s room this Wednesday from 2:30-3:30 to welcome a certified therapy dog and handler from Intermountain Therapy Animals. All ages are welcome to read aloud to a dog and improve literacy and communication skills in a comfortable setting.
