Materials may be renewed over the phone or online twice before they are due, unless the item is on hold for another patron.

Patrons with overdue materials are assessed a fine of $0.10 per day per item overdue.
Patrons are responsible for the cost of replacing any lost or damaged materials, plus a processing fee.
Interlibrary Loan
Materials not owned by NVPL or a Partner library may be ordered through interlibrary loan (ILL). There is a $1.00 per item fee due at the time of pick up to help defray the cost of shipping. Patrons are limited to five ILL items at a time.
The date due for each item will be indicated on the receipt you receive at the time you check out your items. Renewals of ILL items may be permitted by request. Overdue fines for ILL materials are $1.00 per item per day.
